As part of my weekend workshop, I had to create a calendar on any topic of my choice. The challenge was to break away from traditional formats—not necessarily covering an entire month, but maybe just a week or even a single day. It was about rethinking how we perceive and structure time beyond the usual.
Inspired by vinyl records and the Phenakistiscope, I took a different approach to visualizing my long-distance relationship. Using crosshatching directions to represent my girlfriend and me, I captured our connection and separation in a looping 2D animation. To match the style, I set all text in a circular motion, blending it seamlessly with the visualization.
